Who is HBIOMED?
<p>HBIOMED is a French manufacturer based in Lille with over 20 years of experience, specialising in machine-washable anti-bedsore mattresses and cushions made of tangled polyurethane fibres. Our solutions equip nursing homes, hospitals, individuals, professionals and the yachting world.</p>
Are your products really machine-washable?
<p>Yes, entirely. Cover + core in tangled polyurethane fibres go in the machine at 60-90°C. No loss of performance, quick air drying.</p>
Are they effective against multidrug-resistant organisms (MDROs)?
<p>Yes. Combined with a hospital-grade detergent, washing neutralises <em>Clostridium difficile</em>, <em>Bacillus subtilis</em> and <em>Staphylococcus aureus</em>. Technical documentation available on request.</p>
What is the real lifespan?
<p>20 years in intensive use. No sagging, no maintenance. A sound investment compared with foam mattresses replaced every 2-3 years.</p>
